I know it’s a bit early but I’m ready to jump on the Best 9 bandwagon for the year. From a whirlwind idea in late February last year to launching the podcast in May, it’s been a great first half year of sharing stories from the Florida Trail (and other Florida trails!). I’m happy there has been so much enthusiasm for the podcast and can’t wait to share more stories with you in the New Year! . I’ll be doing my best have two episodes a month instead of one during most months because so many have asked for more. I get it, a weekly show would be awesome, too! However this is really a passion project and combined with another podcast, work, family, and other hobbies, right now it has to fit in with everything else! My list of potential guests is long in my head—so many people to talk to. . Thanks, you the listener and hiker, for making this podcast successful! It’s takes more than a podcast producer to make a show succeed. . If all goes well, there will be a special mid/late month episode later this week. So keep an eye out for it! . #floridatrail #bestnine2018 #hiking #floridahikes #podcastsofinstagram #womenwhohike #womenwhopodcast #backpackermag #orangeblaze #hikefl #sheexplores #hikelikeawoman #onthetrail #trails50 #natureinspired #optoutdoors #girlswhohikefl
Back in the early fall I put out a call for hikers to sent in short snippets about their upcoming hikes and previous hikes, or why they loved the Florida Trail. Six lovely people took the time to send in their stories to make this episode happen. Take a listen!
